DANCER | ACTRESS | CREATIVE

A MULTI - TALENTED VISIONARY

Kamila Kwietniewska

A professional dancer, actress, and performer with an international background, Kamila is the founder and creative force behind SPOTLIGHT – a professional musical theatre training program that is based on her original, innovative approach to musical theatre performance.

In 2025, SPOTLIGHT became the first program in Europe to establish an official collaboration with the Verdon Fosse Legacy (VFL), co-organizing the first-ever FOSSE workshops in Europe, which were held in Warsaw. Kamila is a graduate of the Verdon Fosse Legacy Professional Training Program (PTP I, II & III) in New York City, where she refined her skills in Fosse technique, musical theatre performance, and storytelling through movement.

Her musical theatre career spans some of the most prestigious stages in Poland, including her debut at the Polish National Opera (Teatr Wielki – Opera Narodowa) in the opera The Black Mask, working alongside internationally acclaimed artists such as director David Pountney and choreographer Denni Sayers (Broadway, Sydney Opera House, West End). She has also starred in major productions including Aida at Roma Musical Theatre in Warsaw and Pretty Woman: The Musical at Varieté Musical Theatre in Kraków, solidifying her reputation as a versatile and expressive performer. In addition to her dance and acting, Kamila enhances her performances with musical theatre singing, showcasing a triple-threat approach on stage.

Beyond the theatre, Kamila has been active on the commercial and entertainment scene for over 12 years, collaborating on television programs, live concerts with top European artists, advertising campaigns, and original choreographic projects. Her career has also included cruise ship contracts, which allowed her to combine professional performance with her passion for travel. She also works as a professional photo model and provides voice-over work, further expanding her creative expression across different media.

As a choreographer and educator, Kamila has spent many years training competitive dance teams and soloists in jazz dance, modern, and show dance. She regularly serves as a guest lecturer at the largest music and theatre universities in Poland, sharing her expertise with the next generation of performers. Since 2019, she has regularly trained in New York City and Los Angeles, and she is currently based in London, where she continues to develop her international career.

Her work is defined by a strong technical foundation combined with clear narrative, musicality, and emotional expression, moving fluidly between musical theatre, classical Fosse jazz, and the commercial stage. She believes that the true quality of a dancer lies in the ability to tell a story and communicate meaning through movement.

Alongside her stage and choreographic work, Kamila holds a Master’s degree in Physical Education and remains actively involved in fitness and movement coaching. She leads private dance sessions, HIIT classes, and supports dancers preparing for international competitions, blending performance training with athletic awareness.
